About joyce
Joyce Hayon (pronounced as hah-yun) Kim is an actor, director, and dramaturge working across theater and film. Born between Seoul, Korea, and Eugene, Oregon, she creates work shaped by yeojeong (여정)—a Korean word meaning “journey,” evoking continual passage through memory, faith, and connection. Guided by a quiet faith in grace and renewal, she seeks to make art that restores attention to what is honest and true. Now based in New York City, she builds work rooted in depth and presence—art that moves with purpose, yet lingers with you.
She hopes, in some way, to be in a yeojeong with you.
